In Partnership With BISI

Access to free respite stays in specialised environments for those with long-term injuries and life-altering conditions is limited within the UK. Currently, free respite care is largely only provided to those who have a diagnosis of an advanced, progressive life-limiting, or terminal illness.

 

BISI provides several grants annually, to ensure more of the community have access to specialised respite holidays and personalised services and care. BISI has partnered with Revitalise to help us to provide this essential support.

 

Revitalise provides the respite holidays for successful applicants of BISI grants, which will ensure a one week stay in a Revitalise centre for an individual and a family member or carer.

Revitalise has been creating respite holidays for disabled people and carers for nearly 60 years. It’s everything you’d expect from a holiday, backed up by 24-hour care and full accessibility, providing much needed reassurance for guests.

What is different about Revitalise?

A Revitalise respite holiday is a refreshing twist on traditional respite care. Offering a break that feels like a proper holiday for disabled people and also for carers. This is why Revitalise talk about respite holidays rather than respite care.

Guests can expect a holiday experience, whilst knowing that specialised and individually assessed care will be provided throughout their stay.
